I really enjoyed the swim, I must say! The wetsuit definitely gave me a nice amount of buoyancy without compromising the flexability.
I find in my current wetsuit it often feels like a bit of a struggle in my arms and not getting enough motion and I come out feeling quite tired in my upper body. Today I got straight into my stroke, elbows were nice and high, I had so much mobility – it really was a treat, I felt like I was gliding through the water and didn’t feel like I was having to use as much effort as I normally have to use.
I was really impressed with the suit, it was nice and warm, the fit was good, getting in on was easier than normal which is also a treat. So overall I was very very impressed with the suit. Over the 2.1km swim i managed to shave 1 min 18 sec off my regular time, which definitely would have been more if I hadn't got stuck in a bunch of 'traffic' on my first lap!

Greg and I were recently talking about wetsuit upgrades and I thought, of all the triathlon equipment I really couldn’t understand why that would make a difference in the race but after swimming in this suit today I can really understand how much of a difference a great suit can make because you just feel less tired, you can get into your rhythm a lot quicker so I absolutely see the benefit of a good suit.
